Jess’ Bat Mitzvah was September 11, 2004. She worked hard and did a great job. She is very proud of the family heirloom I designed and created for her. She will have this piece of me to wrap around her and her children long after I am gone.
We purchased the tallis on-line from Israel at www.talit.com. I used the colors and pattern of the tallis she loved as the palette to create the needlepoint designs. The tallis Bag has her Hebrew name and her favorite Hebrew word, Shalom. The tallis collar has her favorite prayer, The Shema.
